TAMPA BAY QUALITY BUSINESS NETWORK
ABOUT US
The Quality Business Network (QBN) was formed
in 1996 by local business professionals who saw an urgent need for a
uniquely different networking group. QBN, as it has come to be known, has a
variety of diverse business categories and a relaxed business atmosphere.
QBN provides qualified business referrals and endeavors to continually
provide animated and interesting business discussions at each weekly
meeting. We accomplish all of this for an affordable membership fee. QBN
allows only one business per category to become a member, thereby
eliminating competition within the group for referrals. QBN has experienced
tremendous growth over the past year. It is fast becoming one of the premier
networking groups in the Tampa Bay area. For further information, please

MEET OUR OFFICERS
President: Gerard Veneman
Presides over weekly general membership meetings and monthly board of
directors meetings. Organizes and chairs the planning committee for an
all-member annual social event. Co-signs all checks issued on the QBN bank
account.

Vice President: Jim Jacobs
Publishes weekly email communications to all members providing timely
information about the next meeting and informs the membership who the
speakers for the week are. Is responsible for maintenance of the QBN website
member listing and calendar information. Maintains speaker rotation listing
to ensure all members are offered equal time to present their businesses to
the group.

Treasurer: Kelly Watson
Maintain QBN bookeeping records and presents income and expense reports to
the board and all members regularly. Maintains bank account checkbook and
reconciles to the bank statement monthly. Prepares annual budget each
January. Co-signs all checks issued from the QBN bank account.

Secretary: Vince Erb
Documents board meeting discussions for record keeping purposes and presents
same to all members. Documents any and all member meeting motions and
appropriate actions taken from them for record keeping purposes. Maintains
"qualified referral tracking log sheet" weekly to present to the board.

Sergeant At Arms: Kevin O' Sullivan
Calls the weekly general meetings and monthly board meetings to order.
Provides additional points of view for discussions and makes recommendations
regarding any aspects of QBN. Maintains time scherduled for speakers and
maintains time schedule of the meeting for the President or other presiding
member to enable full usage of our QBN hour. Maintains "attendance records
log" on a weekly basis.
